Ephesians 6:2-4

² “Honor your father and mother…”^[a] (This is a very important commandment with a promise.) ³ “…so that it may go well for you, and that you may have a long life on the earth.”^[b]

⁴ Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up by training^[c] and instructing them about the Lord.
